I was really surprised by the height of the design on the hem, going so much farther past the bottom of the collar, and the large size of the design.

Hmmm, I don't know, Miehina-san, it's a really good question. Does Osaka still have a Geisha quarter or even a few Geisha and a tea house?

They have 4 Geisha districts: Kitashinchi, Shinmachi, Nanchi, and Horie. I never see much about them.

For my birthday, my husband let me buy a new obi. I really liked this one - for its metallic threads, which affected the look and nature of the obi when it moved in the light. The theme is a forest.
