Here are some little tips how to post pictures and shorten hyperlinks.
Showing a picture
1.
You have to upload it somewhere on the internet.
Sites i.g.: photobucket.com imageshack.us flickr.com
2.
After uploading, there will be a bunch of links the site
(I take imageshack.us as an example) will give you.
3.
You copy the link I framed in red (see picture above) and put is right away in your post. The picture will be shown in its original size (which depending on the picture it can be way to big for the forum posts. Therefore, you should use the link I framed in blue for every big pictures. That link too you only have to copy it and paste it right away in your post.
This is the easiest way to do it.
Another way to do it is like this:
Action 1 and 2 are still the same.
But this time, you click on the
“+show Advanced Linking”
a)
You copy the link.
b)
You go to your post you are writing.
c)
You type:¨
[img]you%20put%20your%20link%20in%20here[/img]
And you picture will appear once you post your comment.

Hyperlinks
Long hyperlinks aren’t very pretty to see and disturb a lot. There is a way to shorten the hyperlinks.
You start by.
1.
Write: [url=]
Behind the “=” you put the link of the site you want to show everybody.
2.
Behind the “]” you write something like: link or here is the blog. Whatever you want
3.
You write: [/url]
And that’s it.

Other tips:
When you want to comment on somebody elses pictures, try not to quote the picture in your post, because it will make the loading of the forum slower. the best way to do it is to refer in your comment:
" i like that picture *insurt name of person to whome you want to tell your comment* nice find!! "
