Gosh how I like the 'Cutthroat Geisha' idea, showing these 'ideal' women in a rather different role, just as they also can be, sometimes. Let me try to invigorate the thread a bit.

Is she just too composed, too balanced? Too aware of her all-conquering beauty? Yet I'd really like to see my princess giving a threatening, dangerous look worthy of this thread if only once...

Best approach thus far IMO is this one: Kikutsuru during her erikae, portrayed by Melissa Chasse. It hardly exceeds a warning to stand off a bit more, it's not the deadly, laser-like zapp I'm looking for.

Of course this dangerous glaring-thread does not apply to maiko, or does it? Naaa... no way. Not maiko. They are just too cute to ever... at least, I hope so... please, not maiko-san... will yet another illusion go to bust?

Haha, i have to say we all witnessed Kotoha's evil glaring when she was just a maiko, sorry to burst your bubble, lol. Kotoha was very scary with her evils. She went from the kawaii little chiyo-chan to the twisted hatsumomo-san

Oh boy... I already feared such. Thanks anyway Ichiko-san, I'll look up some of her maiko pics & try to duck in time...

:devmai: Ouch! :devmai:

On the other hand, the very same Kotoha bewitched me dancing Kurokami during which she does not glare at all (would not fit the theme).

Kotoha dances Kurokami [first posted by Jamjars, who favors it too, on the "dances other than Gion Kouta" thread]

And so Cosmic Harmony is restored again. But not for long: here's the decidedly dangerous-looking maiko Fumihana, originally posted on the "everybody has those days" thread...
