If there is ever a meet in Chicago, I guess I could borrow/rent my uncle's boat and sail down, lol. I live very close the Great Lakes... that would be an AWESOME trip.
Then again, if I ever get the sailboat I keep dreaming about, lol, the world is my oyster...

I went here.
#1 The prices are higher then they should be. Many things such as kitsuke SETS I can get online far cheaper. Still, it is nice to be able to buy a single item at a time..just expect to pay around $25 for something so simple as a single makara...and kimono cords are $8 each. You are better buying a set from ebay at that rate. They have tabi, and even a few zori there. the tabi and shoes were reasonably priced.
#2 Some of the kimono are from Ragstock, which is just across the street. They are then marked up. I dont advise picking up much in the way of kimono here, unless you fall in love. If you want kimono, go across the street to Ragstock. this place does have a few new wedding kimono, though I didnt see their prices.
#3 They have GREAT odds and ends, and an amazing selection of tea ceremony supplies, pottery, and cooking goods! Their book selection is GREAT!
Over all, the store is hit and miss. It is a neat store, and worth a visit. The place is a little messy. If you are looking for tea and japanese garden supplies this place is a MUST. I go for the books, the books selection is awesome.
