I think the fact that it's synthetic and wool is keeping people from buying it. Considering all of the layers that go into wearing a hikizuri and how much a person sweats from wearing all of that weight, wool doesn't really seem like the best option...

It is nice, but it bothers me that the pattern along the back seam is off.

You know, I don't think this piece is a Hikizuri. I actually think it's a Uchikake for stage. Take a look at how it's sewn at the hems, to me, it looks like the seams on the outside and inside are turned like a Uchikake rather than a hikizuri. It's not as thick as a normal uchikake, because it's for stage. Going by the colors and such, it would be an EXCELLENT piece for anyone's Oiran cosplay.
Or at least that's what I think. XD
