It's a great win, Ikimaru. Did you ever hear from the seller about payment or why it was delivered so early to you?

On another note, my current win-

I've never seen a bright red Meiji period kimono that wasn't a child's kimono or a furisode.

Recently, I just bought this kurotomesode.

I was really surprised by the height of the design on the hem, going so much farther past the bottom of the collar, and the large size of the design.

Osaka Odori

I'm really glad I got this. I've never seen one from Osaka before. Maybe it's kind of rare?

They have 4 Geisha districts: Kitashinchi, Shinmachi, Nanchi, and Horie. I never see much about them.

For my birthday, my husband let me buy a new obi. I really liked this one - for its metallic threads, which affected the look and nature of the obi when it moved in the light. The theme is a forest.
