Changes for June 27 2009

Made a few changes thus far:

General chat has been merged with the Ochaya, so post your off topic and random things there.

We also now have a "Resources" forum. This is where all the how-to around the board should go, and includes are ever popular avatar thread run by Ichisumi.

This is also where any support questions should be directed. I'll still be doing some things around the board, trying to fix that, fix this. I'm going to try to tackle the problems with the emotes next, so, wish me luck.

Okay! Here's some more updates!

Emotes are now fixed! Oi! Was that ever tedious, I had to manually edit each value for each emote. X.x

AND! VOILA!

Custom Profile fields! We have them now! So far, the custom fields are favorite Geiko and Maiko, and they accomodate for 20 characters, so you should be able to put in 2 - 3 for each.

Enjoy. Still going to do some more tweaking~

Edit: Feel free to make some suggestions for what else we could have.

just one little thing: i think you made the "Mai's Maiko Smile"-smiley bigger (this: :maismile:

) but it belongs to the group with the smaller once. not a big thing actually.

Miehina, Ichisumi and I are thinking things over on the ranks, we may allot posts a little different or we may just append the extended ranks straight on. Yes, I see that, hahaha, got going too fast it appears. . . I'll fix it later tonight, but I got to leave in a few minutes and I'm not even properly dressed! :p I just always check in though. . .

I had a big surprise when i received Tsuruko email calling me back( thank you very much :giggle:

) and had an other one when i acessed the forum..what´s happened?

I´m not complaining about the changes in istelf,just would like to know why the server has changed :bunny:

Welcome back Sakamoto, glad my email spiel is paying off!

Back around March, most of the forum agreed that PHP 3 would be better and we had pressed for an update then, but Freeforums put us off, until June came when they told us they would be forcing all PHP 2 forums, including TM, to convert to PHP 3. We just got ours, but the layout may not be permanent, I don't know if I like the scheme much, it just seems a little abstract, but on PHP 3 we have more control over the administration features, permissions, along with a whole slew of other good things, which is including the little favorite Maiko and Geiko scripts in the profile.

I'll be keeping everyone posted on the new changes as best I can, though it does slip my mind!
