So, I am trying to work on and create the advertisement for the Oct 3rd Tea Event. I went searching through my scrapbooking supplies and stumbled onto some origami paper that is very beautiful. The paper is so pretty, with raised gold detail. I remember buying this particular paper from a common craftstore. In particular it caught my interest because the designs were inspired by kimono designs.

It almost seems a crime to use these papers for origami.

You can find a huge collection of these papers online and for sale at http://www.japanesepaperplace.com/whole ... eneral.htm . In the least they are great inspiration.

The rest of the scans are up at: http://ohiokimono.wordpress.com/
