Hello,

I was cruising the net looking for information on miko attire during the Hei'an period when I stumbled onto this forum at midnight my time one night.

I tried posting a quick hello but somehow it got lost or dropped. So I am trying again.

I am a middle-aged lady from Michigan with 4 grandkids. Im a semi professional seamstress by trade meaning I am trying to turn a hobby of making historical costumes into a small business.

I am still looking for authentic documentation on a full miko attire for the Hei'an period and am hoping someone could point me in the right direction.

Yukiko :?

I will see if I can find anything from my massive list of links dealing with the SCA. I know of at least two SCA members that have Japanese personae and they have loads of info on it.
