Don't be shy! No one here bites.

I see a few new members about who haven't yet said a word. We'd really like to meet you and we wish you the best of welcomes.

I guess, I shouldn't be a hypocrite, and introduce myself.

I go by Tsuruko as, sort of my Geisha hopping name, but I'm more known as Shavera from sites like Deviantart. You can call me either, I don't mind in the least.

I am an anthropology major with a minor in music. I will be traveling to Japan next year to study Geisha up close, I am also hoping to write a book, or least publish a photo book. : )

Alrighty then, I guess it's time for an introduction!

Hi everyone! Some of you may know me as GoldenPhoenix from the IG forums, or as kurokami-kanzashi from deviantart.

I've had an interest in Japanese culture and art for much of my life. I now spend much of my time making kanzashi and kimono and working as an illustrator.

I hope to have lots of fun with all of you around here!

My interests: karyuukai, astronomy, football, Hellsing (manga, anime, OVA) and few other things.

I love to draw maiko and geiko and playing guitar. I made few kanzashi too.I mean not real kanzashi but my interpretation of kaznzashi.

I love dancing. I'm a professional bellydancer. Also I used to take classes with Atlanta Chinese Dance Academy and I loved that!
I find Japanese Dance and Geisha culture very unique and intricating. Good luck to anyone! :wink:
