Kombanwa y'all.

The last few days got me hooked on definitely [and incurably] to the world of the geiko and maiko. And that's why I moored my vessel here, to hope to gain some enlightenment about them and their delicacies, and, who knows, to even share a thing or two.

Gurita Taisho = Admiral Gurita. Admittedly it is a blind shot, but I trust none of you board members ever visited a [former] Imperial Japanese Navy site :wink:

. Yet in bygone years IJN officers were an important part of the clientèle of the aforementioned Ladies of Art.

Involvement in a country's Navy of course raises further questions about that country itself. I have found that Japan is élitist, but in the good sense: they all seem to always try their very best, and the Ladies are no exception, to say the least.

And so I'll have to start from the shikomi bottom up, I guess... :giggle:
