Is there anyway each person could save one of the disscussions that have kanji in there personal files on their computer and if it screwed up just redo it!

As long as we have the lists i think it will probly be okay! When it changes does everything stay the same apart from the people, topics, ranks, posts? Does the URL not change? Or im i just confusing myself?

Ranks should be carried over, as well as links, emoticons, etc, etc, if not, it won't be too difficult for me to reupload all that stuff. Will have to redo the ranks if we go with bigger avatars, but I'd kind of want to redo those, at least one of these days, maybe go with something drawn versus photos, of course, that's entirely up to the wants of the board.

We shouldn't get the funky garbled-y-gook like IG had long as the language extensions are installed and what not, if so, it sounds like Ichisumi has us all backed up.

Ichisumi, just let me know what you want for you custom moderatorly rank, and it will be done.

just tell me in the next couple of days what avatar size we will have. (so i can prepare and create some in the right size if you decide the dimensions will change).

i think it looks fine without the rank pictures as well. looks "cleaner" in the new design of the forum. // my opinion

Well, I think it's pretty much a 'go' for PHP 3, so TM is now in the queue to be upgraded. We're still going to have a few days at very least, so there's time to play with the test forum and such, and get a few ideas out and all that jazz. . .

I'm going to make a new thread in a few minutes on what's wanted and what's not, and changes and such that everyone would like to see.

I am not exactly for it going bigger. I like the size we have now. If all the avatars are that big and then add all the pictures that we post, ooooohhh, talk about a slow board...

Does it make it slower Dame-san? In that case, i think smaller, even just a little bigger than ours!

It took me about 10 seconds for it to load and I have a very fast connection at my campus computer of about 100 Mbps, so in essence, it was pretty slow...

It does take a little slower than the original, because i just tested now. On my computer the original comes up straight away, but i took longer with the test!
