I would like to make a thread for an avatar dump for new members or members who don't have an avatar. If anyone would like to help, or have Geisha and Kimono related avatars that they aren't going to use or don't mind sharing, place them here.

Thanks to the very kind Ichisumi, we've got plenty of avatars for use for members who are unable to make their own avatars:

It would be preferable that members do save the avatars and upload them to their own services like Image shack and photobucket or directly upload them to the board in their profiles.

That would be great. I have a hard time making my own avatars on photoshop, because I can never seem to make them the right size and under 15k. So, it would be great if we had some stock. You can go to my Inspiration Art Set on Flickr to pull images. It's full of Ukiyoe and my Jidai Matsuri picks, along with a few Tea Ceremony shots. There should be a lot there for you to use.

I usually use photoshop for my icons. To get a tint, I usually create a second layer on top of picture I'm using, take fill bucket, and fill that layer. Then I play with the opacity of the layer to add a fog tint.

My rank? Oh! It's just a clipping from a piece of artwork I did in March. Just swapped a few colors, and voila! Instant rank for me!

I'd do art for the ranks, but I just don't know if everyone would appreciate using my art for the ranks, as I'm not that good, so I thought photos would work better.

you can use my photobucket bandwhidt. i don't use it much anyways
creating things in photobucket is one of my hobbies when it's bad weather outside so i create many. lol
